Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format. I will play a song, and then read my review of it. Further down the track, I plan to incorporate both gig reviews and even interviews into my time on air.

Episode 04 -The Secret Is Out
This week's edition of "Protis Reviews" will have a heavy focus on artists who have performed at the venue in South Brisbane known as It's Still A Secret. Over the years, this place has become one of Alan's favourites to take in live music entertainment. It is sadly closing at the end of August this year, but will move to West End where the magic looks set to continue for many more years to come in its new location!
