Welcome to Protis Reviews. My name is Alan, and for an hour each week I will be showcasing the hottest releases from local artists in the Brisbane music scene, as well as those from interstate and overseas. I have been writing reviews of studio releases, be they singles or EPs, since June of 2024. I started reviewing live performances in September of 2024, and have been enjoying these immensely! My aim for this show is to see how it works in a radio format.
This week on "Protis Reviews" features an interview with country folk artist Ella Hartwig. She is originally from Cooktown in Far North Queensland, and has come such a long way since those humble beginnings. She released her album "Take Me South" in both physical and digital versions, and she's heading overseas in the next few weeks to tour the UK and Ireland. Ella and her manager Kyle drop by for a chat with Alan about everything that's been going on of late.
