The best modern jazz ever recorded. All shows are varied, with content ranging from solo and trio format to small groups and big bands, not overlooking great vocalists. Some shows have a unifying theme, usually an artist but occasionally a birthday. Most shows have domestic as well as overseas content, and occasional interviews with local and visiting artists.

Stanley William Turrentine, nicknamed Mr. T, was an American Grammy nominated jazz tenor saxophonist and record producer. He was 66 when he died in 2000.
