Going to Palestine changed my life, and I remain fiercely committed to paying my rent on stolen land here, and for my friends in Gaza, Palestine while their voices continue to be silenced and oppressed.

BANNED PHRASES:

For those of you who may not be aware, activists have launched a High Court challenge against Queensland laws that banned the phrases "from the BLEEP to the BLEEP" and "globalise the BLEEP" after the Government (advised by Jillian Segal’s special envoy) deemed them “antisemitic.”

Both of the phrases are commonly used in the Free Palestine movement, and more than 20 people have been charged under the laws since they took effect in March.

Justice For Palestine, Magandjin/Brisbane are organising actions around this critical high court challenge!
There's a rally planned for 16th September at QLD parliament, as well as this important petition requiring as many signatures as possible!
